"Outro" by M83. It was in the Cloud Atlas trailer. Now I'm an M83 freak.

Dale you like shooters where you have a squad right?

Spec Ops The Line is an ok shooter with a fairly engaging story, so yeah check that out.

I HIGHLY recommend Ghost Recon Future Soldier though. The gameplay in that is tight. The story is kind of generic, but man the gameplay more than makes up for it, the squad stuff works great too.

You guys should also check-out that Ghost Recon Alpha live action video, it is extremely well done and ties into the game's story nicely.

Volt, maybe you're referring to once when I was talking about how sweet this one section of Metro 2033 was, where after playing a large portion of the game solo or with one other person tagging along, you roll through some tunnels in a group of four. That was a pretty damned effective use of a squad, yeah.

Spec Ops does sound pretty interesting, it's on my list of things to pick up at a heavy discount sometime. You're the first person I've heard say almost anything about Future Soldier, though. What version did you play?

I'm going on a 10-day trip for business starting next Monday, and I'm only going to have a 2007 MacBook w/ me, so I'll probably only be playing a couple of games over that time (take a wild guess what I have on that computer). We may have a continued resurgence in the Lit Corner.

I played the PS3 version. Future Soldier was totally not on my radar either, first I heard about it was the sales charts because I think it did pretty well. It's really neat though, it has a sci-fi aesthetic. At least check out that live action video during your business trip to see what I mean, it's really well done too.

Esteban, you have way too much disposable income. 300 bucks on some VR glasses? At least wait until it's a commercial product.

Let us know how it goes when it arrives in the mail one day. And Dale, talk some sense into him.

It's my reward for continuing to work for the man. I've already cancelled all but one of my fall game purchases as I have too much to play anyway, and I have really wanted a head mounted display for a long time. My body is ready.

I tried...

The whole thing feels like vaporware to me. Who knows, maybe it'll be the shit. I am hugely skeptical, though.

Can't wait to see the new PR for your latest project Lonesteban!

And I have fond memories of the Clubhouse... even though I got kicked in the face by some cowboy who tripped going up some stairs.
